Meet the Sparians Executive Team

Alan Fluke, Managing Partner, COO

Local entrepreneur and national consultant for establishing this and other entertainment concepts in markets across the country. Alan has been recommended by US Bowling as an expert in project management from conception to completion of establishing these hybrid centers. He has successfully managed, operated, and consulted for entertainment venues for the past 35 years including clients such as Disney, ESPN Zone, Legoland, The Tropicana Casino & Resort, and locally, Adventure Landing.

Chris Angel, Managing Partner, CFO/CMO

Local entrepreneur with a 15 year background in sales and marketing for global software companies and has been involved in negotiating large contracts with multi-national corporations, such as SAS, IBM, and Seagate. His strengths are strategic planning, establishing sales and marketing programs, and communication plans. His role is raising capital, creating the marketing programs for maximum exposure, and creating strategic partnerships for future expansion.

Scott Merritt, General Manager

Local chef, born and raised in Wake Forest, Scott has 14 years of culinary experience including local restaurants, convention centers, and country clubs, both casual and fine dining. He has also competed locally and nationally in culinary competitions and events winning 1st place in the 2005 NC Taste of Elegance. Scott truly enjoys being in the Raleigh area and has developed a passion for overseeing and now managing the front of the house.

Lauren Temple, Director of Sales

A graduate from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Lauren joins our team as the Director of Sales. Lauren was a teacher in Wilmington before she left to move to Charlotte to pursue her dream to work in professional sports. She took a job with the Charlotte Bobcats as an Inside Sales Representative and was promoted to an Account Executive after 6 months. She then accepted the Sales Manager position with StrikeCity Bowl in Charlotte NC where she helped open the facility from the ground up. Lauren will bring a lot of experience and expertise to our team.

Adam Ting, Director of Marketing

A recent graduate of Western Carolina with degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Adam is a Raleigh native, who is extremely excited about the Sparian’s project. For the last year he has worked for Aramark, a leader in professional services, as a marketing intern concentrating in advertising and social media.
